Description: This reprint from December 2008 issue of Structural Engineer Magazine is a part of the PCA Professional Development Series. Each part of the series gives the reader an opportunity to earn continuing education credit by reading specially focused, sponsored article. Upon reading this article and completing the quiz, the reader should be able to understand Development and Splicing of Flexural Reinforcement Based on ACI 318-08. The reader will learn the ACI 318-08 Code provisions for development of flexural reinforcement. The quiz answers are graded by the Professional Development Series sponsor.
