Roofing Tile
Concrete Home > Building Systems > Roofing Tile

Roofing tiles are not usually considered when building a new house or making major renovations to an existing roof. However, they offer many benefits to homeowners. Concrete roofing tiles offer elegant, enduring aesthetics for house designs and improved marketability for the builder. They are also very versatile and provide greater protection to the homeowner.

Beauty
Roofing tiles come in all different styles. They often don't look like tile at all. Texture, hue and shape are no problem with concrete roofing tiles. Shingle, shake and slate are just some of the varieties of tile. Spanish mission tiles can enhance the look of your southwestern style house. Cedar shake tiles will compliment the look of your log cabin. Classic tiles can blend in with any style house.

L-R: Shake, Mediterranean, Slate, Spanish

Value
When determining the cost of new roofing, installed price is not the only factor. The total lifetime cost of your roof should be one of the determining factors. A homeowner should also take into account the guarantee of the roofing material, maintenance costs and resale value. A Class A fire rating assures fire resistance. This rating not only provides safety for everything under the roof, it also can reduce insurance costs and add to resale value. Finally, concrete roofing tiles are energy efficient. You will save on heating and cooling bills all year round.

Concrete roofing tiles are a way to make your home an artistic expression of your own individual style and to reward yourself with a lifetime of peace of mind.
