Stark, NH, is quickly learning the benefits of concrete housing. Tim Savage is building ICF homes in the Northeast, and people are taking notice. Mike McQueeney, Energy Star Home Program Administrator for Public Service of New Hampshire, walked through the home and had this to say. ""What I saw was a house that was straight, tight and built to a level of quality that is uncommon." He added, "This home was tight enough to qualify for certification as an Energy Star Home." When evaluating the air infiltration, McQueeney stated the "difference in air infiltration over a heating season will reduce heating costs significantly."
