Las Cruces ICF Builder Open Doors to Public
The use of homes built with insulating concrete forms has dramatically increased in the last several years, particularly in and around the Las Cruces area. For the second consecutive year, the Insulating Concrete Forms Council of the Las Cruces Homebuilders Association is holding a concrete homes preview. This year's preview included five homes built with insulating concrete forms (ICFs). The public was invited to tour the homes and meet their local ICF builders and contractors.
In addition, a public seminar about ICF construction was held at the Las Cruces Hilton. Representatives from the ICF industry, local banks and insurance companies were on hand to talk about ICF construction and energy efficiency mortgages.
