PCA Offers New Insulating Concrete Form Training Tool

New from the Portland Cement Association, the ICF Training Module is a 4-hour training and recruitment package designed for use by promoters, developers, or builders.

The Training Module enables a presenter—with either limited or extensive experience with ICFs—to conduct an introductory presentation on building concrete homes with stay-in-place forming systems.

The scripted package includes an MS PowerPoint presentation with separate video segments, and a list of common questions and answers. Special segments are designed to demonstrate the advantages of becoming, or working with, an ICF contractor. Also included are guidelines for the creation of an additional one-and-a-half-day hands-on ICF training course, which can be presented at a job site or ready-mix yard.

The ICF Training Module (SP381) costs $45 plus shipping and handling. For more information or to place an order, contact PCA Customer Service at (800) 868-6733.

Based in Skokie, Illinois, the Portland Cement Association represents cement companies in the U.S. and Canada. It conducts market development, engineering, research, education, and public affairs programs.
