PCA Welcomes New Residential Staff
Portland Cement Association welcomed three new staff members to its residential department in 2000.
Michael H. Weber was named Director, Residential, with responsibility for developing and implementing PCA’s residential program. Before joining PCA, Weber was vice president of operations with Johnson Poured Walls in Mattawan, Mich. He has also served as director of training and product promotion with Consumers Concrete Corp., in Kalamazoo, Mich., the largest ready mixed concrete and block producer in the state. David Shepherd, AIA, was named Program Manager, Residential Technology. In addition to five years of experience in design/build construction, Shepherd has held positions with a national real estate investment company and United States Gypsum Co. Based in Skokie, Illinois, the Portland Cement Association represents cement companies in the U.S. and Canada. It conducts market development, engineering, research, education, and public affairs programs.
