Count on Concrete Home > Information
The Count on Concrete home will focus on educating the public and building industry about the benefits of exterior concrete wall construction for residential homebuilding. The 1,237 square foot show home is based on a typical Habitat for Humanity floor plan, with the exterior elevations modified to reflect more of the middle American style to broaden the visual appeal.
The interior of the home will be a large open space during the shows, with no interior framing, in order to achieve an “art gallery” look. Visitors to the home will be able to view displays of other types of concrete wall systems, such as insulating concrete forms, concrete masonry and cast-in-place removable forms. The interior floors of the Count on Concrete Home will be of acid-stained concrete, with concrete pavers being utilized for outside landscaping. Amazingly, the entire home will be constructed in just 4 days!

Count on Concrete home information will be available there, as well as in the Official Guide to the Concrete Pavilion, which will be available at every Pavilion Partner's booth. The Guide will also be bundled with the January issue of Permanent Buildings & Foundations magazine.
Location:
Silver Lot, in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Count on Concrete home, which is part of the Show Village 2003, will face the North Hall.

Post-show information:
After the World of Concrete, the home will be dismantled and relocated to its permanent site in Henderson, NV. Once there, the home will be reassembled and handed over to the Las Vegas affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.
