Regional Seminars Offer Cost-Effective, Focused Training

SKOKIE, Ill.--Portland Cement Association’s Education and Training Department is offering regional seminars as an alternative to conventional classroom sessions at its Skokie, Ill., headquarters. Regional courses offer participants a cost-effective way of meeting their training needs with shorter seminars, close to home. Additionally the smaller size of regional seminars allows attendees to get focused attention of the issues facing them locally.

Registration is still available for the following regional courses:
• Sept. 14—Combustion and Pollutant Formation, St. Louis, Mo.
• Sept. 15—Vertical Roller Mills for Raw Meal Preparation, St. Louis
• Oct. 6—Supplementary Cementing Materials for Use in Concrete, Seattle, Wash.
• Oct. 12—Impact of Cement Characteristics on Concrete Proprieties, Atlanta, Ga.
• Oct. 13—Kiln Operation Considerations, Atlanta
• Nov. 4—Combustion and Pollutant Formation, Bethlehem, Pa.
