Pavements Home > Survey Results

PCA Market Research surveyed decisionmakers in the pavement market in 2005 to measure changes in their attitudes and perceptions toward soil-cement, roller-compacted concrete (RCC) pavements, and competing materials. This research was conducted as part of the measurement criteria research program.

Questionnaires were mailed to 18,000 decisionmakers in the pavement industry in the United States in 2005. Those surveyed include consulting engineers, contractors, owners, developers, and State/Municipal/City/Federal and County Agencies across the US. A 4.5% response rate was achieved with 805 questionnaires returned.
