Pavement Engineer/Pavement Specialist
Portland Cement Association-North Central Region has an opening for a motivated, energetic professional to promote concrete pavements to counties and municipalities in Minnesota. Position focuses on communicating features and benefits of concrete pavements to public and private agencies and firms, including county and municipal engineers and consultants, with the goal of increasing market share. Position works closely with allied concrete industry.
Applicants should have four-year degree in engineering (preferred), business, marketing, or related fields; with 3-5 years experience in concrete paving, portland cement, ready mixed concrete, concrete construction, or related business and marketing fields. Strong technical and communication skills required. Position based in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Library Technical Assistant
The Portland Cement Association (PCA), a major national trade association, is seeking a part-time, detail-oriented individual with library experience to work in the organization’s 100,000-volume research library. PCA conducts market development, engineering, research, education and public affairs programs. The position involves primarily technical services-related responsibilities, including OCLC copy cataloging and interlibrary loan, circulation, document delivery, shelving, journal routing, and data entry.
Qualifications: Excellent computer skills, high level of accuracy, detail-oriented, knowledge/understanding of bibliographic data, multitasking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently. Some college; LTA or 2 years’ experience working in a library, preferably technical services. Working knowledge of OCLC for cataloging or interlibrary loan a plus.
Hours: 15 hours/week (flexible hours between 8:00-4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. No weekends.)
