The Professional Promoters' Workshop

BACKGROUND
In 2004, the Regional Cement Promotion Groups and many of their
promotion partners asked to re-instate the popular Professional
Promoters’ Workshop (PPWS)—the only national forum offering
unprecedented networking opportunities, support programs, and sharing
of best practices in the local promotion of concrete. The Portland
Cement Association, which conducted the PPWS’s in the 90’s
with the co-sponsorship of the NRMCA and ACPA, obtained the endorsement
of the North American Concrete Alliance (NACA) and its member organizations
to conduct the Workshop on June 9th and 10th 2004 at the North Shore
Doubletree Conference Center.

Executive Directors and marketing/promotion staff of state associations
Members and associate members of state associations (masonry,
ready-mixed concrete and paving) involved in local promotion
Regional Promotion Groups (RPG) staff and executive directors
Paid staff and volunteer promoters in local promotion councils
Cement company personnel charged with local promotion as part
of their objectives
Manufacturers and supplier personnel to the concrete and
construction industry
North American Concrete Alliance* “local promotion”

Individuals who attended the Promotion Plus Forums/Summits
Anyone interested in increasing “the size of the concrete
promotion pie”
Location
The workshop will be held at the North Shore Skokie Hotel &
Executive Meeting Center (formerly known as the Skokie Doubletree
Hotel) 9599 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, IL 60077-1083. Fly into O'Hare
or Midway Airport.
For hotel room reservations call 847-879-4458. Ask for special
room rate under Portland Cement Association room block "PPWS"
- hurry, limited number of rooms at $93 rate. Reservations must
be received by Friday, April 8, 2005.

Registration
The Early Bird registration fee is $310 per person. After April
4, 2005 the fee increases to $350 per person.
