Current Research
PCA currently has more than 70 research projects in its core program
not including fellowship or manufacturing projects. The value of PCA’s
active projects (multi-year) is more than $7 million. PCA research
dollars are often matched equally by allied industry and government
agencies.
Following are some of the organizations that PCA collaborates with on
research: HUD, NAHB, EPA, FHWA, PCI, ACBM, CANMET, Army Corps of Engineers,
Bureau of Reclamation, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Federal
Railway Administration, National Research Council of Canada, and National
Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada.
PCA contracts research to several organizations, including engineering
and testing laboratories, research agencies, universities, associations,
consultants, and government agencies in Canada, Europe, and the United
States.
