Wayne Adaska, P.E.

Director, Pavements & Geotechnical Markets

Wayne S. Adaska, P.E., is the Director of Pavements and Geotechnical Markets for PCA. He is responsible for market development and expanding the use of concrete and other cement-based materials for pavement, water resources and geotechnical applications. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the cement and concrete industry. 

Adaska has authored numerous papers and articles and lectured extensively on soil-cement, roller-compacted concrete, waste solidification/stabilization and controlled low-strength material. He is a member of a several technical committees of ASTM International, Transportation Research Board (TRB) and American Concrete Institute (ACI). He has chaired a number of committees including ASTM C09.45 on Roller Compacted Concrete, TRB Committee on Soil-Portland Cement Stabilization, ACI 327 on Roller Compacted Concrete Pavements, and ACI 229 on Controlled Low Strength Materials. He currently serves as chairman of ASTM D18.15 on Soil Stabilization with Admixtures. 

Adaska holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois.
