PA Congressman Asks White House to Sign Off on Cement Industry’s Executive Order

Congressman Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07) has called on President Trump to support America’s cement industry through an Executive Order that would designate cement as a Critical National Security Material and prioritize domestically produced cement in federal projects.

Cement underpins the roads, bridges, energy infrastructure, and defense installations that keep America strong. Pennsylvania’s cement and related industries employ 6,000 people and contribute nearly $5 billion to the state’s annual economy.
