SGS Beta is an ISO 17025-accredited radiocarbon dating laboratory that has been a global industry leader since 1979, joining SGS in 2025. Beta is a pioneer in the use of Carbon-14 analysis to determine the biogenic/biobased content of renewable emissions, biofuels, biobased products and more. Beta serves as a technical advisor on several ASTM and ISO committees related to fuels, emissions and plastics.
