U.S. National Forecast
The US national forecast is published three times annually. It provides ACA’s annual three year outlook for key macroeconomic variables that influences construction activity. These factors are used to project real construction activity across key construction sectors. Finally, the forecast combines unique ACA only data regarding cement consumption per construction dollar to yield cement consumption projections.
State & Regional Forecast
The U.S. State forecasts are published three times annually. They provide ACA’s three-year outlook for key variables that influence regional construction trends.
The reports contain ACA’s proprietary state level constant dollar put-in-place construction (PIP) spending. The PIP spending activity and cement consumption are segmented and projected among 16 construction sectors. In addition, ACA’s regional forecasts contain projections of over 30 other key construction variables.
County Forecasts
The ACA County & Trend outlooks provide a three-year history and three-year forecast for the 3,000+ U.S. counties and parishes as well as for 383 Metropolitan Statistical Areas of total cement consumption. The reports are only available for ACA members.
State Ranking Flash Report
The rate of construction activity can vary widely by region. The monthly State Ranking Report provides a state-by-state comparison of key variables that impact residential, nonresidential and public construction activity. The report contains two sets of three tables utilizing varying methodologies to identify near-term trends as well as a comparison of where markets rank in their expansion cycle. This report is complimentary to any state or national forecast subscription.
