PCA thanks members and special guests for our successful 2016 Washington, DC Fly-In on May 24-25. The event provided an opportunity to meet face-to-face with key lawmakers and regulators and lobby on policy that affects cement plants across the United States. It also marked an occasion to participate in and celebrate PCA's Centennial Anniversary.

Participants included Anthony Foxx, U.S. Department of Transportation secretary and Janet McCabe, U.S. Environmental Agency (EPA) acting administrator Office of Air and Radiation. Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA), Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH), and Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL). Prior to the start of the Fly-In, PCA held in-person Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meeting and Transportation and Infrastructure meeting.
