To date, many participants have taken advantage of PCA regional programs in Southern California, the Midwest and Texas, and Georgia to name a few. Regional programs can be a cost-effective alternative to your training needs. They are closer and shorter so you can save on travel and lodging expenses. In many cases our regional programs are held at locations where there are clusters of plants... often well within driving distance from your own location.
The focused format allows us to provide you a more intensive and directed program. That means your employees can get personalized attention that addresses your plant’s specific problems. Regional programs save time, save money, and still provide the great training that you can expect from PCA.

Pervious Concrete Seminars Offer a Solution to Stormwater Runoff
The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) and the Portland Cement Association (PCA) are once again combining efforts to offer the seminar Pervious Concrete—A Stormwater Solution in 2009. The seminar has been offered in over 30 cities during the last 3 years.
Each seminar provides attendees with detailed instruction on how to implement pervious concrete pavements as a solution to reducing stormwater runoff from building sites and other paved areas. Attendees will learn the details of pervious concrete pavement systems, engineering properties and construction techniques. This course will help civil engineers, architects, landscape architects and public works officials develop details and write project specifications for pervious concrete pavement systems. Contractors, product suppliers and land developers will also benefit from this seminar.
