Curing Concrete

Lawn sprinklers saturating burlap with water keep the concrete continuously moist.Curing is the maintenance of a satisfactory moisture content and temperature in concrete for a period immediately following placing and finishing so that desired properties may develop. The need for adequate curing of concrete cannot be overemphasized. This webinar will discuss the importance of curing, different curing methods, and the benefits of curing.

At the end of this course, participants will have the ability to:

• identify curing methods for maintaining moisture
• recognize the importance of curing temperature
• discuss the benefits of curing concrete on properties of concrete
