PCA has adjusted downward its cement consumption forecast projections for 2017 and 2018. While our macroeconomic, and much of our construction spending projections remain on target, weather and weakness in the public construction sector have prompted the adoption of a more modest growth outlook.
This forecast contains analysis and tables for the Economic Forecast, Construction Put-in-Place (billions of 2009$), Portland Cement Consumption (metric tons), and the U.S. Cement Consumption Forecast (metric tons) for years 2015-2022. Available in PDF and Excel.
